the perfect art form for a small space...

Linocut is the perfect printmaking technique for a small home space.

From the kitchen work surface to the dining room table or the corner of a spare bedroom - it all works. All you need is a table, something to sit on and a few tools and materials.

This FREE mini-course will show you how to layout your worksurface, what tools and materials you will need for linocutting and some tips for getting the most out of your own space.

This is a fun 'behind-the-scenes' tour of my own little studio and processes... Come on in!

start linoprinting at home...

Linoprinting is the art of carving into linoleum blocks, inking them and then printing. You can make finished works of art, greetings cards or even print onto fabric.

It is an art form easily carried out from home and can produce fantastic results for beginners, dabblers, hobbyists, those who 'can't draw', designers, illustrators and professional artists alike.

A few simple tools and materials and a table to work on is all you need to get started... but if you are curious as to how a professional artist sets-up their home studio (or just love nosing around people's arty spaces), then this is the course for you!

This mini-course is completely free and aims to help you understand what tools and materials are best to use and how to layout your space for the most inspiring creative environment.

Hi, I'm Susan

Linocut printmaker, artist, author and online educator.

I have been teaching people to do linocut through workshops and online courses for over 15 years. I've educated over 3000 students and lost count of the number of people that have bought my two bestselling books: Learning Linocut and Beginner's Guide to Linocut.

Peeking into other artist's studios and shopping for tools and materials are two of my favourite things to do when it comes to linocut and so through this FREE mini-course I decided to open up the doors to my own home studio (virtually) and show you inside.

Come on into my studio...
